At this point Michigan fans have basically installed a shrine in the student union, complete with flickering candles, framed photos of every ancestor the legacy prospect has ever had, and a subtle lingering scent of maize-and-blue incense. Rumor has it they’ve even christened the top of the Big House “Future Recruit Corner,” reserving prime tailgating real estate months before any paperwork is signed.
Sources say die-hards are already drafting acceptance speeches (“I promise to blitz hard and hit harder!”), designing commemorative T-shirts that read “In Recruit We Trust,” and holding annual family reunions timed to his presumed campus visit. Word on the street is that the parking pass for his first car is already painted and waiting in the dean’s office, complete with a personalized welcome note: “If you’re not here by 2027, we’ll assume you meant 3027.”
In short, Michigan fans would love to see this happen so badly that they’ve circled the calendar in permanent indelible ink, ready to throw the loudest welcome party the Big Ten has ever seen—assuming this legacy prospect ever decides to let them.
