Auburn’s O-Line Plans Group Therapy Before Georgia Showdown

The Auburn Tigers’ offensive line, reeling from 14 sacks and 14 penalties over its last two road games, is preaching self-reflection ahead of Saturday’s clash with Georgia. Jeremiah Wright, the veteran tackle, insists the unit must “let the last game go” and harness the Jordan-Hare home advantage to execute better in both run and pass schemes. Despite Xavier Chaplin’s early-season hearing issues and Hugh Freeze’s conservative playcalling, Auburn’s linemen believe a reset during their bye week gives them a chance to showcase a 6.4-yard-per-carry run game that ranks among the nation’s best. If they can play “Auburn ball” and protect Jackson Arnold, Wright argues, the Tigers have a shot at shocking the Bulldogs.

In a move that surprised no one except perhaps the team’s own coaches, Auburn’s offensive line has decided that beating Georgia requires rigorous soul-searching, several motivational chants, and maybe a group hug—or at least a strongly worded pep talk. Forget fancy schemes or recruiting ringers from the portal; apparently the key to winning is a tear-stained staff meeting and some deep breathing exercises. If nothing else, we can look forward to the O-linemen holding hands in a circle and chanting “We are strong! We are united!” before lining up for the snap. Who knew that winning football games was just a matter of unlocking your inner feelings?
