Georgia’s Eighth Straight Win Over Tech: Photo Recap - painting of Georgia Bulldogs football venue

Bulldogs Dominate Tech for Eighth Straight Victory

The Georgia Bulldogs closed out their regular season with a hard-fought 16–9 win over Georgia Tech, marking their eighth consecutive victory in the rivalry. Despite offensive hiccups in the second half, Georgia’s defense came up big on crucial downs—forcing stops on third-and-long, capitalizing on a Yellow Jackets’ miscue, and holding Tech to just a field goal. Quarterback Gunner Stockton connected with Zachariah Branch in the red zone, turning a holding penalty into a touchdown play and securing the lead. With the running game finding traction through Nate Frazier and Josh McCray, the Bulldogs consistently moved the chains and took advantage of field position. The win leaves Georgia at 11–1 and provides a photo gallery of key moments from Kirby Smart’s latest triumph over their in-state rivals.

Sure, Georgia’s offense looked about as smooth as a porcupine in a bubble bath, but at least the defense remembered to show up. Fans can now marvel at 60 high-resolution images of players celebrating a win nobody expected them to earn easily. If you thought Georgia Tech would finally break the streak, you clearly haven’t heard of the Dawgs’ secret weapon: adrenaline-fueled photo shoots after every third down. And let’s be honest, nothing says “dominance” like a series of still frames capturing athletes high-fiving each other while that offense fumbles through a script hiccup. Bravo, Dawgs—eight in a row. Let’s hope the camera doesn’t go on strike before the ninth.
