Devils in the Making: Duke’s Nominees for the 2026 All-American Game

Currently boasting a record 95 McDonald’s All-American talents, Duke University’s basketball program saw freshmen Cameron and Cayden Boozer, along with Nikolas Khamenia, keep the pipeline flowing. This year, four high-flying recruits—power forward Cameron Williams, small forward Bryson Howard, point guard Deron Rippey Jr., and center Maxime Meyer—have joined the 346 nominees for the West and East squads in the 2026 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Games. While the date and venue remain under wraps, selections are expected soon, and Duke remains on track for another top-ranked recruiting haul under head coach Jon Scheyer.

At this point, Duke’s recruiting machine is less a basketball program and more a well-oiled McDonald’s Happy Meal factory. Coach Scheyer must have a secret menu: “One McFlurry of five-star nominees, hold the competition.” Rumor has it that each recruit once pit-stopped at Duke’s campus just to snag a commemorative dunk plaque. And as the 2026 All-American countdown drags on, insiders suggest Duke fans are considering a GPS tracker on the selection committee—just to ensure their nominees make the final roster.
