Oregon’s Backcourt Gets a Payneful Makeover
The Oregon Ducks have landed Boston College’s leading scorer, guard Fred Payne, marking their seventh addition via the transfer portal this offseason. Payne averaged 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game for the Eagles last season. His arrival lifts Oregon to No. 40 in the national portal rankings and seventh in the Big Ten, trailing Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, UCLA, Maryland, and USC.
