Five Aggies Poised to Dominate 2027 NFL Draft
Texas A&M enters the 2026 season with five veteran standouts already on NFL radars. Leading the charge is Wilkin Formby, a 6’7” former Alabama five-star tackle whose size and strength make him a coveted bookend. Edge rusher Anto Saka brings freakish athleticism and consistent pressure, while wide receiver Isaiah Horton’s 6’4” frame and contested-catch prowess turned heads in the SEC. Safety Dalton Brooks, the lone true senior, offers hard hits and versatile coverage. Cornerback Rickey Gibson III, a transfer from Tennessee, has SEC experience locking down top receivers. Each must now prove their pro readiness against the toughest competition college football offers.
Behold the Aggies, morphing into NFL-bound runway models before they even learn the playbook. Forget dorm life—these guys are busy collecting scouting reports like Pokémon cards. Because nothing says “college spirit” quite like turning your roster into a halftime highlight reel for pro scouts. Who needs team chemistry when you’ve got individual mixtapes?
Ignored Big Names: Aggies’ Top Talent Overlooked
On3’s recently released Top 100 College Football Players list for 2026 included only two Aggies—wide receiver Mario Craver at No. 33 and safety Marcus Ratcliffe at No. 57—despite Texas A&M’s first-ever CFP appearance and back-to-back SEC title bids. Snubbed were quarterback Marcel Reed, fresh off Heisman-level numbers (3,169 passing yards, 25 TDs, nearly 500 rushing yards) before a late-season slump; wideout Isaiah Horton, a transfer from Alabama with big-play upside; and center Mark Nabou Jr., the sole returning starter on an SEC-elite offensive line.
Clearly, the experts drafting that Top 100 roster must have been allergic to maroon and white. Maybe they ran out of ink after writing “SEC.” Or perhaps they believe turnovers count as positive yardage. Either way, somebody get them a rulebook—Aggies block, pass, and tackle just like the rest of us, even if they didn’t make your favorite power list.
