After Curt Cignetti led the Hoosiers’ football team to a national championship and then commandeered the pace car at the Indy 500, ex-Heisman QB Fernando Mendoza went No. 1 in the NFL Draft. Former IU basketball manager Dusty May is cutting nets in the NCAA Tournament, while ex-Hoosier AJ Barner caught a touchdown in Super Bowl 60. The Philadelphia Phillies have been tearing it up with Indiana baseball legend Kyle Schwarber swinging for 55 homers, and the Knicks’ OG Anunoby is one rebound, one block, and one putback away from NBA Finals MVP. Move over global superpowers—Indiana is here to teach geography a lesson.
