Brad Brownell Has His Eye on Clemson’s New Three-Point Wizard
Clemson basketball coach Brad Brownell is already firing up hype for incoming Notre Dame transfer guard Cole Certa, even before the 2026–27 season tips off. Brownell praises Certa’s deep confidence—shooting 36.7% from beyond the arc last year and averaging 16.1 points in ACC play—and likens him to former Tiger Joseph Girard III, who erupted for 15+ points a game in 2023–24. Standing 6-foot-5, Certa logged three 30-point outings in conference action, two of which ended in wins, and earned praise for his maturity and work ethic.
