Elite QBs Converge at 30th Manning Passing Camp

Elite QBs Converge at 30th Manning Passing Camp - painting of Ohio State Buckeyes football venue

Gridiron Royalty Descend on Louisiana

Ohio State redshirt sophomore Julian Sayin, coming off a stellar 3,610-yard, 32-touchdown freshman campaign, is set to join Arch Manning, CJ Carr, Jayden Maiava and a host of other top collegiate signal-callers at the 30th annual Manning Passing Academy. The event, founded by Archie Manning and held June 25–28 at Nicholls State University, will feature elite prospects from programs including Texas, Notre Dame, USC, Ole Miss, Georgia and Washington. Past Buckeye starter Will Howard, who led Ohio State to a 2024 national title, praised the camp’s challenging transition for transfer quarterbacks. Despite stars like Indiana’s Josh Hoover and Miami’s Darian Mensah missing out due to scheduling conflicts, Archie says he’s never had more quality college QBs clamoring for a spot.

It’s like Coachella for future Heisman contenders—minus the flower crowns and plus 30 years of gridiron glory. Picture Arch Manning strolling around in his dad’s shades, handing out playbooks like candy, while wannabe NFLers perfect their spiral under Louisiana’s scorching sun. Julian Sayin is probably packing extra arm sleeves for style points, and Jayden Maiava is double-checking his cleats for extra swagger. Meanwhile, Archie Manning is quietly plotting the next franchise quarterback over beignets. Who needs Netflix when you’ve got Friday Night Lights reenacted on a practice field? If only the rest of us could request invitations to this quarterback VIP lounge—oh wait, you can’t. Try harder next year, plebs.
