USC Enshrines Lemon, Fitzgerald on All-American Walk

USC Enshrines Lemon, Fitzgerald on All-American Walk - painting of USC Trojans football venue

Trojan Icons Carved into the Coliseum’s Walk of Fame

Outside the John McKay Center, USC’s famed All-American Walk commemorates 179 first-team All-Americans—names like Marcus Allen, Reggie Bush and Troy Polamalu. Following the 2025 season, two new stars joined the ranks: Makai Lemon, the Fred Biletnikoff Award–winning receiver with 79 catches, 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns (plus 215 return yards), and Bishop Fitzgerald, the NC State transfer turned defensive mastermind who logged 51 tackles, five interceptions (one pick-six) and a Bronko Nagurski defensive player of the week nod. Lemon was scooped up in Round 1 by the Eagles; Fitzgerald signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent. The piece also delves into USC’s legacy—from its first All-American in 1925 to its status as fifth all-time in unanimous selections.

Behold, Trojan nostalgia: because nothing says “glory days” like immortalizing athletes on a walkway that freshmen will inevitably trip over. Makai Lemon’s greatness is now forever preserved in concrete, ensuring future generations can stumble past his name while searching for the bathroom. Meanwhile, Bishop Fitzgerald’s defensive prowess is etched in stone, just in time for the Titans to sign him off the scrap heap. Clearly, USC believes the best way to honor fleeting athletic success is to literally pave over campus—because if you can’t guarantee NFL stardom, at least you can guarantee your name won’t be power-washed away.
