Hoosier Defense Receives Transfer Overhaul

Three Transfers Ready to Rev Up Indiana’s Defense

Indiana’s football program bolstered its defense for 2026 by landing three high-impact transfers. Safety Preston Zachman arrives from Wisconsin with six seasons of Big Ten experience, 130 tackles and seven interceptions under his belt, projecting as the starting strong safety. Edge rusher Tobi Osunsanmi, a Kansas State product, offers explosive speed and strength after totaling 12.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in his career, making him the ideal fit for the “stud” position. Finally, cornerback A.J. Harris brings 26 starts and All-Big Ten honors from Penn State and Georgia, known for his lockdown coverage and physical play against the run. Together, these newcomers aim to turn Indiana’s secondary into a national contender.

Breaking news: Indiana fans celebrate the arrival of three transfer players—because apparently winning a championship means suddenly everyone wants a piece of you, like mosquitoes at a tiki torch party. Enter Preston “I’ve Been Hurt Before” Zachman, who spent more time in rehab than on the field but still promises to “provide leadership.” Meanwhile, Tobi “Speedy Tornado” Osunsanmi is on a quest to turn quarterbacks into yard markers—just ask his highlight reel, which is 90% sacks and 10% people accidentally running the wrong way. Rounding out the dream team is A.J. “Lockdown” Harris, who once made a receiver cry mid-route and is willing to do it again—hopefully not in a post-game press conference. Put them together and you’ve got a defensive juggernaut so intimidating even ghosts will think twice before crossing midfield.
