Rebels’ Backfield Superstars Make Maxwell Watch List
Ole Miss announced that Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy have been named to the 90th Maxwell Award Watch List, recognizing them as two of college football’s top offensive talents heading into the new season. Chambliss dazzled last year with 3,937 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and just three interceptions, while adding 527 rushing yards and eight scores. Lacy thundered onto the scene as a sophomore, piling up 1,567 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns. Both earned preseason All-SEC First Team honors and launched a joint Heisman campaign. Semifinalists will be revealed November 10, finalists on November 24, and the winner on December 10 during ESPN’s College Football Awards Show.
